Singer was born on 26 November 1986 at Santa Monica California. She is the only daughter of Vincenzo Barba. At the age of six, her family moved into Point Pleasant New Jersey. In terms of her education, she finished her education at Red Bank Catholic High School in New Jersey. The schooling continued in Catholic University where she earned an undergraduate degree in architecture. As a violinist from the age of 4"Violingirl" was her nickname.
